Sculptra®

Treatment

Depending on the result you want to achieve, treatments may be required every four to six weeks, over a two to six month period. Treatment takes only about forty-five minutes and there is no downtime. Any slight bruising or swelling that may occur from the injections lasts only a few days.

About Sculptra®

Sculptra® is made from tiny particles of Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLA) that are diluted in a suspension of sterile water. The solution is carefully injected into the skin after the face is numbed, then molded for an optimal result. As the particles of PLA break down, they stimulate the formation of collagen, which over time adds volume to the skin, filling in scars and wrinkles and providing a more youthful appearance in people with ageing, wrinkling and loss of facial fat.
