Mini Lift

As we age, the skin and underlying tissues of the face and neck lose their elasticity and support causing sagging, folds and wrinkles. Sometimes these changes are limited to discrete areas such as the cheek or neck regions. In this case, a patient may not need a full Facelift procedure. One of the Mini Lifts may address a more localized problem. Our doctors are renowned locally and internationally for their delicate touch and eye for balance and symmetry. This artistic sensibility is critical to successful Mini Lift procedures. The experience and training of our board certified plastic surgeons is a huge asset in the quest for a natural looking result.

Mini Lifts have been given many different names such as the Short Scar Lift, Quick Lift, S-Lift, MAC-Lift among others. In general, the Mini Lifts are confined to a limited area of the face. They tend to be suited best for patients with less advanced changes associated with aging. The incisions are shorter and the healing process may be quicker. For discussion purposes, we will divide the Mini Lifts into two categories called the Cheek Lifts and Neck Lifts. The Cheek Lifts will refer to the procedures in the upper, (cheek), region and the Neck Lifts will describe the procedures on the lower, (neck), part of the face.

The result is a blend of your individual anatomy, scientific principles, and the skill, style, and artistry of the surgeon. Every face is unique and the sculpting required for each patient should be individualized. It should be performed only by a qualified, experienced, board certified plastic surgeon.

Are You a Good Candidate?

To be a good candidate for any plastic surgery, you must have realistic expectations about what the procedure can do for you. It's important to understand that plastic surgery can enhance your appearance and self confidence but, like all plastic surgery, it is not going to solve underlying emotional issues you may have. Always think carefully about your expectations and discuss any concerns you have with your surgeon.
