Brow Lift

Brow Lift, often called a Forehead Lift, improves the appearance and position of the forehead and eyebrows. As we age, the skin and supporting structures lose their elasticity and support. The skin begins to stretch and sag, often causing a tired or sad look in the forehead and eye region. In addition, underlying muscles can create prominent wrinkles in the forehead. The goal of the Brow Lift is to reposition the eyebrows, soften wrinkles, and provide a more youthful and rested appearance. It improves the upper third (from the eyebrows up) of the face as the facelift improves the lower two thirds of the face.

There are several types of Brow Lift procedures. Mini Brow Lifts are smaller surgeries which address localized areas of brow laxity. A popular version of the mini brow lift is the Temporal Brow Lift which raises the lateral one third of the brow (an important area for creating a youthful fresh appearance to the eyes) using a smaller incision. Some patients require a Full Brow Lift which corrects more severe drooping of the brow and wrinkles along the entire forehead.

Are You a Good Candidate?
