Body contouring surgery improves the shape and proportions of the body that are resistant to change with diet and exercise alone. While a healthy diet and lifestyle are important, other factors such as pregnancies, hereditary changes, weight fluctuations, and aging can result in excess fat, uneven contours, loose muscles, and excess skin. Body contouring plastic surgery helps our Sarasota, St. Petersburg, Bradenton, and other Southwest Florida patients correct these changes. Our board-certified plastic surgeons can produce a dramatic improvement in body shape, proportions, and most importantly self-esteem.

Tummy Tuck: Sagging abdominal skin, fat, and muscle can be the result of pregnancy, substantial weight loss, or an inherited tendency. Abdominoplasty, known more commonly as a "tummy tuck," is a major surgical procedure to sculpt the lower abdomen and to tighten the muscles of the abdominal wall.

Mini Tummy Tuck: A lower abdominoplasty, known more commonly as a mini tummy tuck, is a surgical procedure to sculpt and tighten the lower abdominal wall. Unlike a complete tummy tuck, this variation is limited to the lower portion of the abdomen between the belly button and pubic area.

Liposuction: As the human body ages and experiences weight fluctuations, fatty tissue gets deposited in various parts of the body. These problem areas can be difficult to manage even through proper diet and exercise. Liposuction is the process of body contouring by removing fatty tissue from selected portions of the body including the abdomen, hips, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, chin, cheeks, and neck.

Arm Lift: It is common for the upper arm area to develop loose skin and fat which can cause embarrassment and restrict clothing choices. An arm lift, also called brachioplasty, is the process of body contouring by removing excess skin and fatty tissue from the upper arm.

Inner Thigh Lift: An inner thigh lift is a body contouring procedure that removes excess skin and fatty tissue from the inner thighs. Artistic and anatomical removal of this tissue can result in an improved appearance and silhouette.

Outer Thigh / Butt Lift: The outer thigh lift and butt lift are types of body contouring that remove excess skin and fatty tissue from the outer thigh and buttock regions.

Hand Rejuvenation: By adding volume to the hands with fat injections or dermal fillers, and using lasers to erase sunspots, the hands can be rejuvenated to give the soft, full look associated with youth.

Labiaplasty: Labiaplasty (also called labial rejuvenation, labial reduction, or labioplasty) is a procedure that re-contours or reduces the size of the labia minora.
